Test of a Prince - T.L. Barrett

The library has heard great reviews about this book, written by one of our very own English teachers.

After Ragnarok, the realm of Jotunheim suffers under a terrible curse. Out of the darkness, a prince wearing the face of a demon gathers a handful of old and troubled heroes: a one-handed fisherman, a drug-addled swordsman, an embittered holy man, and a cross-dressing satyr. In the hope of salvation and with the help of some diminutive Mindans and a young woman, the heroes embark on the darkest of quests.

Divergent - Veronica Roth

In a future Chicago, sixteen-year-old Beatrice Prior must choose among five predetermined factions to define her identity for the rest of her life, a decision made more difficult when she discovers that she is an anomaly who does not fit into any one group, and that the society she lives in is not perfect after all.
